So we were at Costco, and there was this woman giving out samples who said, "Aw, what a cute little boy! How old is he?" I refrained from yelling back, "She's a GIRL, darnit!!!" and responded with a polite and subtle, "Thank you. SHE's seven months old." And do you know what this woman said??
"Aw...but his haircut makes him look like a girl."
What the????!!!!

What?!? That's the most ridiculous thing ever! Hailey is a beautiful and feminine little muffin. Don't worry. I think some people think all babies look like boys because of the hair. Do they expect baby girls to have long, flowing locks? Weird.
